Laurette Taylor, Ph.D.,
is an Associate Professor of
Health Promotion and Director of the Functional Assessment Lab at the University
of Oklahoma. She received her Ph.D. in Community Health Education from Southern
Illinois University in 1987 and has been a member of the Health Promotion
faculty at OU since that time. She conducts research in the areas of functional
performance in older adults and lifestyle intervention as a mechanism for
reduction of chronic disease risk. She has published more than 30 peer-reviewed
journal articles and research abstracts.
